The Galle Face Hotel swimming pool, the only salt water pool in Colombo, is private to hotel Guests and is the ideal place to relax with a cool drink or swim a few laps to work out the aches and pains after a busy day in the office or exploring the city. The poolside area is a great place to sip on a cocktail and watch the sun go down.

The museum is a must whilst staying at the Galle Face Hotel. Our Historian conducts tours of the hotel on Tuesdays and Thursdays so be sure to reserve a place.

Our hotel Historian conducts regular tours of the Galle Face Hotel, pointing out various architectural highlights as well as relating various stories and legends of years past.

Our Historian is the keeper of all archives and artifacts dating back as far as the late nineteenth century.

A yearly roadshow is held to invite past friends and clients to return to the hotel with memorabilia for the hotel to photograph and record.
